Today’s pov

While working with people and giving massages or doing the spiritual work, I see that almost everyone desires to be healthy, move painlessly, be agile or energetic, yet very few are truly prepared to change their daily habits to get there.

It’s easy to hope for a quick fix or expect a practitioner to easily “repair” us during a single session, after spending months and years that created the “damage” or “trauma”.

However, real healing is rarely a passive process. It requires us to take personal ownership of our body mechanics, movement patterns, thoughts, mindset, energy, and so much more.

As a massage therapist, I try to identify the dysfunction, follow the symptoms to find one of the real causes of the problem, restore proper muscle tone, and give the nervous system the right reset. Yet the long-term results are built in the everyday choices: doing your corrective exercises, adjusting your posture, and actively listening to the subtle signals your body sends before they turn into pain.

Just wanted to share this as I work with my Lithuanian community and get back to teaching in the academy.
Lately, a lot of people have been asking me about the eyes – myopia, astigmatism, etc. I made a video with eye exercises a few years ago, but only now I truly understand how and why it works, and why it helps; instead of hoping it’ll do the miracle others talked about. So I want to focus more on the right everyday things we can do to help ourselves.
But now, most importantly, don’t forget to drink your water. It’s good for you.
